AFOB Regional Symposium 2014 (ARS 2014) is an international symposium, being organized by Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB) Malaysia Chapter in collaboration with Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. With the theme of “Biotechnology for Sustainability”, ARS 2014 is aimed to present current research carried out in the broad area of biotechnology for future sustainability. The idea of this symposium is for the scientists, academia and students from the universities and the industries all around the Asian Region to present ongoing research activities, exchange new ideas and experiences in order to sustain our world through biotechnology. This symposium also provides a platform for the delegates to establish collaborative research programmes, hence encourage research relations between the universities, industries and government.
